Plane over Stockport viaductPosted by sithenah (Greater Manchester/Cheshire, United Kingdom) on 4 December 2011 in Transportation and Portfolio. A Manchester airport bound plane flies over the Stockport viaduct. The viaduct carries the main railway South out of Manchester. Underneath flows the infant river Mersey. Louis la Vache from Albany, CA, United StatesA fine image, Gerald - the combination of the rail trestle and the plane. This works nicely in B&W. 4 Dec 2011 11:19am Dragonstar from IrelandI love this. The contrast of the old viaduct, the modern building, and the aircraft overhead - excellent! 6 Dec 2011 8:37pm |
