Perle & Bruse

Posted by
sithenah (Greater Manchester/Cheshire, United Kingdom) on 31 August 2007 in Art & Design and Portfolio.

This design is on the wall of the bottom station at the Mount Ulriken. There are two cable cars called Perle and Bruse operating a shuttle service to the top of Mount Ulriken. At 642 metres it is the highest of the seven hills around which Bergen is built.

Thank you for the web sites that you recommended me to see. There are so many photos there but I managed to have a look only those from 2005. I have to tell you that I completely enjoyed in looking at them. Thank you.

@medam961: Thanks for the comments - it is what makes it worthwhile knowing others enjoy the ones I share.

The drawing looks like it harks back to a more innocent age .... always fancied going to Bergen, if I ever do I will look out for this !

@jasp: If you go then take the bus from the centre of the city. Hope you get better weather than we did as Bergen is one of the wettest places in Europe and Norway in general is quite expensive; don't let that put you off though.
