@petunia: Maybe I will now I've discovered it. I've lived about a mile from this place for almost 20 years and have only just found it.
The pond is very nice, but just look at the variety of tree's in the background

This is the place I used to wander, 50 odd years ago, just me and my dog! Happy memories of walking in the woods there too and the annual Pole Bank fete!

@jen: Hi Jen - great to hear from you - I've lived in Hyde nearly 20 years but only discovered Pole Bank last year.
i enjoy walking round Pole Bank and would love to see pictures of it from the past i let my imagination run wild and can imagine all the ladies with there glorious gowns enjoying a walk in the grounds
