That's a rather wonderful picture! Is it a deliberately textured piece of glass, as might be used for a headlight?

@Jay: It isn't a piece of glass - I may or may not reveal more about how this work was created depending on what comments are made.

That is a masterpiece, however you made it. I don't care whether it is pure Phoroshop, pure still-life or a combination. It is the result that counts here. This is not documentary photography. But I'm curious how you did it...

An enigma. Not a clue. It does look like base of a glass bottle edge but it's not. Intriguing. Is the clue in the the title or am I being too lateral. I like a mystery.
