Viaduct Junction

Posted by
sithenah (Greater Manchester/Cheshire, United Kingdom) on 15 December 2009 in Architecture and Portfolio.

Below the junction of Temperance Street and Hoyle Street lies the juction of two viaducts. One leads into Manchester Piccadilly Station. The other leads to the long abandoned Mayfield Station.

Always interesting to see your photographs.
Your city is full of fantastic architecture. The arches on the roadway look wonderful.

Viaduct is an excellent choice for today, but a junction of two has to be very unusual. They look quite old; are they? Thanks for sharing!
