Weekend Reflection: Etherow Country Park (2)

Posted by
sithenah (Greater Manchester/Cheshire, United Kingdom) on 18 December 2009 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.

Another reflection from my walk in Etherow Country Park.

Reflection 1 was taken at the top of the mill pond (lodge). This one is taken looking over the mill stream (mill race; canal) that runs west of the pond.

Visit Ackworth born to see one the park's many benches.

I like this photo. The inclusion of the two people makes a huge difference in an already good photo.

Such a peaceful scene that is appreciated very much at this time of year, Gerald. I am glad you included the two people sauntering along the track. Adds to the overall tranquility of the scene.

Have a happy holiday, Gerald.

Wow - I can see every single branch and twig reflected in the exceptionally calm water. That hiking path looks inviting and peaceful to walk along the water.
