Weekend Reflections: Workshop Hoist

Posted by
sithenah (Greater Manchester/Cheshire, United Kingdom) on 2 April 2010 in Business & Industry and Portfolio.

This hoist is part of a workshop on William Street, Hyde.

I presume it was mainly used for lifting the engines out of cars.

You can see the full building on Hyde Daily Photo.

I like it. First thing to catch my eye was the reflection of the hook.

I love the way I see the hook in the reflection but it is hidden in 'reality'. Very well done.

Neat reflection, it looks like it's going to go crashing through the window.
