I have an odd fascination w cemeteries, maybe because one was near my grandma's house and it was the shortest way to the ball field.

Yes a typical Victorian cemetery - always something of interest hidden away in some odd corner. Fascinating places.

We have few cemeteries here in Western Canada as most people these days are opting for cremation. However, I find it fascinating to wander through them, reading the inscriptions on the markers and wondering about the people who lie beneath. Great black & white photo.

I am a bit of a graveyard tragic, Gerald. The use of B&W is very effective in this shot. I love it how cemeteries are often located on hills ... 'nearer my God to thee' ...

I'm not so fond of cemeteries, but this is a tremendously fine photo. Stark black and white works really well.
